RE: COVID-19 TESTING FOR VICTORIAN AGED CARE FACILITIES
Dear Residents, Families and Staff of The Alexander Aged Care Centre,
The Minister for Aged Care and Senior Australians, Senator the Hon Richard Colbeck announced the implementation of additional testing support for Victorian Aged Care Facilities.
Aspen Medical have been engaged to assist with this important initiative. Over the coming days and weeks, Aspen Medical will deliver tests to facilities with no known active cases of COVID19 across Metropolitan Melbourne. They are working with the Department of Health to establish the priority order in which this testing is to be rolled out.
Testing will be available for all residents and staff, but it is totally voluntary – no-one will be forced to participate.
If you would like to participate in the testing, please fill out and sign the Consent Form below.
Forms should be submitted no later than Monday 31 August 2020.
