POSITION: QUALITY & EDUCATION MANAGER
The Alexander Aged Care Centre is a boutique modern 90 bed home. The home supports people requiring all levels of care including a 10 bed memory support unit. The facility is highly regarded in the community and is run by an organisation committed to providing the highest quality of care.
We have a unique and exciting opportunity available for a Quality & Education Manager with a focus on Quality outcomes, continuous improvement, staff development. The successful candidate will have accreditation and compliance experience, systems and processes experience and a proven knowledge of clinical documentation and standards. The successful applicant will work within a highly skilled clinical team and be supported by the Senior Management Team.
Selection Criteria:
- Registered Nurse Division 1 – AHPRA
- Demonstrated leadership / training and development skills
- Sound Audit & Quality Skills
- Thorough understanding of continuous improvement
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Accreditation
- Knowledge in Mandatory reporting
- Highly organised with an ability to use and set up systems
- Experience in supporting and mentoring Team members
- Minimum of 4 years experience in Aged Care
- Excellent communication skills & demonstrated ability to engage in conversation with consumers & their representatives
- Ability to liaise with Medical & Allied Health teams effectively to ensure safe consumer outcomes
- Excellent time management skills
- Compassionate, kind & respectful interactions with diverse consumers & fellow staff
- COVID-19 Vaccination
- Current Police Record Check (PRC) & current influenza vaccination (2022)
- IPC Qualification, Knowledge of eCase and Complispace an advantage
